Holly B. Martin is a former engineer and homeschool mother of five children. As a freelance science writer, she has written for organizations such as the National Science Foundation, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, AT&T, and many others. She regularly interviews scientists & engineers to write articles, white papers, and e-books for websites and technical magazines. Subject area competencies include 3D printing (additive manufacturing), energy efficiency, environmental health & safety (EHS), IIoT (Industry 4.0), manufacturing, materials, metalworking, nanotechnology, R&D, renewable energy, robotics & automation, and STEM & STEAM education.
Inspired by these experiences, Martin began creating STEM-inspired books and teaching resources for public schools, Christian schools, homeschools and after-school programs. She is the founder of STEM-Inspirations.com where she offers books & electronic resources to educate and inspire young people to pursue careers in Science+Technology+Engineering+Math.
